After being an apprentice, Master Liao inherited his father's business in 1963 and officially became a suit master, and set up his own studio to provide services to the suit shops in Taipei City. After years of training and accumulation of experience, Gentle Handleman was formally established in 1975, and moved to its current address at Section 3 Jen-Ai Road, Taipei City in 1985.
